The Tree Lounger Angle Adjuster serves 2 purposes: (1) The Angle Adjuster allows you to climb higher and (2) changes the angle of the stand.
The Tree Lounger 2" Angle Adjuster slides onto a 1 1/2" x 2" Back Brace. Always place the Tree Lounger Back Brace into the closest set of holes on the Tree Lounger. You want the Tree Lounger as close to a 90 degree angle as possible. As you climb, the tree gets smaller which results in the Tree Lounger to start tilting down at an angle.
Warning! Never attempt to climb with the Tree Lounger at a 45 degree angle or beyond. This is where the Tree Lounger Angle Adjuster benefits the hunter by loosening the knob on the adjuster and sliding the adjuster to the center of the back brace. Then tighten the knob on the adjuster to prevent it from moving. This gives you a 2" spacer which results in bringing the Tree Lounger in less than a steep angle.
Warning! The Tree Lounger Angle Adjuster will only work on the Tree Lounger Back Brace that is 1 1/2" x 2" rectangle tube.
